Understanding your life transition

Sometimes, we need that safe space to grieve the loss of a loved one, or someone special. The hardest part is finding that space - a place that will allow you to grieve freely, and multiple times (cause sometimes, that is necessary).

I provide the space by allowing you to express fully. You will be invited to reminsce, share the memories that meant a lot to you. Together, we can create meaning from this separation, and learn more about what you need.

You don’t have to grieve alone.

Adjusting to a new work environment can be overwhelming. You’re expected to learn about the job, the people and the working/systems of the company.

Sometimes, you may even feel unsure. Unsure whether this job is for you, and if anyone could empathise with your struggle as the new person. It can be lonely.

In our sessions, I learn about the challenges you are facing. It is a safe space for you to vent and truly express yourself and your worries.

We can navigate this job transition together.

Sometimes, entering a new course can be daunting. Whether you’re transitioning from one course to another, or starting a new course for the first time - it can be overwhelming as you may be in a whole different field to what you currently know of.

As you share your challenges, I help brainstorm ways to overcome the obstacles revolving around your studies. You will not be judged with where you are currently at.

We can navigate together at your pace.

Change is difficult when our behaviours and habits are subconscious. It runs deep, and it feels uncontrollable when you’re not aware of it in the moment. You want to change to be better, but you don’t know how to do it, or where to begin.

In our sessions, you’re invited to share your story and experiences. If you don’t know exactly why you do certain things - that’s okay. I can gently prompt to help you recall on certain experiences that may have had an impact.

You will be in a safe space met with kindness and gentleness.

Lets learn about you more deeply.

What makes Encompass Growth Counselling different?

Progress reports are an addition to the counselling process. These are developed for clients every fourth session.

They are short-written reports that includes a summary of the client’s progress over the four weeks, and personalised messages that are designed to empower, motivate and support client towards their goals.

Many view these as meaningul and encouraging momentos, as they offer clients an opportunity to:

  • Reflect on their progress and counselling journey

  • Feel supported through gentle reminders and encouraging messages

  • Revisit the tools and strategies that are most effective for them

Clients find progress reports helpful in grounding themselves back to their goal.
