Depression

“I feel lost…”

“I feel numb…”

“I feel like I’m going to be like this forever…”

Sometimes, it really is difficult to get out of the rut.

That feeling of you just don’t want to do anything at all.

When getting out of bed becomes the most difficult task.

When you’re moving, only because you have to, not because you want to.

However, it doesn’t have to stay this way.

You can get out of bed.

You can move because you want to.

How I can help you:

  • Feel heard without judgement: You are invited to share everything on your mind, knowing your thoughts and feelings will be respected and cared for. Your experience matters, regardless of any expectations placed on you.

  • Explore your emotions: Together, we can explore why the trigger is causing you to feel low. In this safe space, your emotions are treated with care and empathy. You are allowed to feel down when it is present.

  • Take small steps towards your goals: When you are emotionally or mentally ready, we can begin to create small and realistic steps to help you move forward.

  • Develop strategies for difficult days: Together, we can identify strategies or tools that would actually help you. You will be invited to share what you think will, and will not work for you.

Counselling may not make depression disappear entirely.

However, you will have someone who understands what you are going through.

You will be met with kindness and gentleness as we look after You together.

Whenever you’re ready…
